For Thursday's class, January 19, please watch Nathan Lewis's Watson lecture on Powering the Planet, and bring in to class on Thursday some questions it inspires. The lecture is available in streaming media format from the Caltech web site: cable or broadband.
At some hours you may find that all sockets are taken, so I suggest that you not leave this to the last minute. The presentation lasts about one hour and eight minutes.
